122mm Reduced Charge Propellant is a separate loading charge used in 122mm towed and / or self-propelled howitzers. The 122mm Reduced Charge Propellant Bag consists of multiple increments containing 2.7 kg of Propellant Powder, placed inside a Fe/Brass case and ignited with a KV-U primer.

Shelf life of ADR122-RC-C 122mm Reduced Charge Propellant Bags are 5 and 10 years for uncontrolled and controlled storage conditions respectively.
